EMERGENCY SERVICES

The City of Sauk Centre has well equipped Emergency Services Departments,
including Police, Fire and Ambulance. These fine individuals serve the
City of Sauk Centre and the surrounding area, keeping its inhabitants safe.
With I94
and State
Highways 71 and 28 converging in or near Sauk Centre, all three departments are
frequently called outside the City limits.

The Sauk Centre Police Department is staffed by Police Chief Amor
Himsl, Police Secretary Gwen Veeder, Police Sergeant Mike Denny, Police Patrol Officers Bryan Friedrichs, Dan Moldenhauer,
Darren Danielson, Gary Nelson and Part-Time Police Patrol Officer Dan Nelson. An
additional part-time officer position is expected to be filled soon. |

The Sauk Centre Fire Department is made up of thirty Fire Fighters,
with Fire Chief Joe Deters as head of the well trained, dedicated volunteer
Fire Department. Officers include: Chief Joe Deters, 1st Assistant
John Egan, 2nd Assistant Mike Sunderman, Secretary/Treasurer Keith Polipnick,
and Training/Safety Officer Dave Deters. |

The Sauk Centre Ambulance Department is staffed by nearly twenty
part-time EMT's who undergo regular training, enabling them to keep up with
the latest in first responder medical attention. Director Bill Britz
heads the department of highly qualified individuals. |
