SAUK CENTRE AIRPORT COMMISSION The Sauk Centre Airport Commission is made up of five members: one Council member (Mayor Dennis Rykken), one City Staff member (Public Works Director Butch Wessel) and three appointed residents of the City (Chairperson Jerry Beuning and Commissioner Joe Uphus (one vacant seat.)) Commissioners are appointed to three year terms. The Airport Commission meets on the third Monday of every month at 2:30 PM to discuss airport issues. The airport is located just 3 miles from downtown Sauk Centre at 39115 County Road 186. The Commission meets in the Arrival/Departure building at the airport.
